Artist Works
Biography: I was born in Madrid at 1960, I have a degree in Educational Sciences and worked in the Administration for 30 years ago. I currently reside in Malaga and I have two children.
Instead of a biography to use, which is of no interest to anyone, I want to tell you how they are made and what I feel when making the MAGNETIC DRAWINGS Drawings made EXCLUSIVELY with straight lines that cross and intersect. They look at each other from afar, until your imagination makes you see what comes to mind. Everyone can see the picture as they want and see what they want or see nothing, or feel like it or not, or relax or cheer or lose or forget. Material used: - A4 Din white paper, squared by me, to the size of the drawing to be made - A ruler of 30 cm. - Colored pens. Realization: First I THINK what will be the basic lines that are going to be part of the following drawing and plasmo in a sketch, in a grid sheet. Then, secondly, when it comes time to DRAW THE DRAWING, those basic lines pass them to the cardboard and when they are drawn, I dedicate myself to unite the points with each other, through straight lines. And finally, and thirdly, after making many straight lines, I FEEL that it is the last and that the drawing is finished. I show it to several friends and from a distance of about four or five meters, it is they who put the name, according to what you see in the drawing. We are looking at the drawing as if we could not stop looking at it and that is why I have called them MAGNETICS And as for what I feel when I make a drawing is the tranquility that you are giving, notice that those feelings of stress that you Cause both work and daily life remain on paper, in each of the lines I make, and when it ends I marvel at what those bad feelings have created.
