Franco-Ecuadorian painter of the "magical realist" trend settled mainly in Quito and Donostia San Sebastián, Lorenzo Corriez was born in Paris in 1969.
Paint and draw from the age of 10. Inspired by nature, he dedicated his life to painting his dreams. As a teenager, noted for his precocious talent, he attended Art Deco classes in Paris on the advice of the Franco-Californian painter Pito, later the Andalusian painter Juan Benito then studied at the ECV School of Visual Communication to become Artistic Director of the best parisian agencies. Since the 2020 pandemic, he has suspended his profession in communication to dedicate himself fully to art. He lives in Quito (Ecuador) and on the Franco-Spanish border. He defines himself as a dream painter close to Magic Realism. |
