Luis Manuel Ruiz, known artistically as El Hombre en las Nubes, is a singer-songwriter and poet who has managed to capture in his musical work the sensitivity and authenticity that characterize him. Originally from Gil Márquez, Huelva, and forged among the landscapes of El Puerto de Santa María, the Basque Country and Catalonia, his music is a reflection of intense experience and a deep love for words.
He was discovered by the iconic Manolo Tena, who recognized his talent and artistic vision. His lyrics, full of feeling and poetry, also caught the attention of Alejandro Sanz, who publicly praised his ability to move people through music. The great boost to his career as a composer came from the hand of Miguel Gallardo, who launched him as a composer for great artists of the Hispanic musical scene. Since then, he has collaborated as a composer for renowned voices such as Sergio Dalma, Cristian Castro, Antonio José, Rosa López, Dyango, Roko, Kikoy Sara, Fran Perea, Bertín Osborne, and Gilberto Santa Rosa. Luis Manuel Ruiz participated, through ValeMusic, as a composer in the first edition of Operación Triunfo, an event that marked a milestone in the musical history of Spain, leaving a mark that still endures. Currently, he is the author of SONY Music, a recognition that underlines the quality and value of his compositions within the music industry. He has worked for the main record labels in Spain, demonstrating his versatility and ability to adapt to different styles and voices, always maintaining his poetic essence and musical authenticity. |
