FRANCISCO MARTIN
Francisco Martín Ramírez Born in Barcelona in 1962. And he has lived in Santa Coloma de Cervelló since 11años, where he has his workshop. The cares of this artist, are basically in nature, for him, his hands and his ability to create make him unique. Since he was very young, he is concerned about handicrafts, he has done many works built with wood, stainless steel, wrought iron ... and his latest project is the pines that have been removed from nature, to which he restores them as exclusive pieces. Naturalism is the representative factor of his works. His dedication to the craft he comes by his love of nature taking the wood from the trees to make their works. Francisco's work as an artist stems from the recovery of unlogged woods, where their original forms are worked manually cleaning each hole to get unique and original works. Each piece is meant to represent strange characters of legend and evokes the inner soul of nature as a form of personal expression turning his proposal works of great originality. |
