Biography:
I was born in Bilbao in 1973 and my great passion has always been nature. Practicing different activities related to it, the concern arose in me to capture the beauty that I discovered in my mountains and I started in the world of photography by training in visual syntax. Take several photography and B&W printing courses Being aware of the artistic limitation that photography has, I began to paint exploring the different techniques, watercolors, pastel, crayon, charcoal and oil. To explore the different styles and strokes make reproductions of my favorite artists, Monet, Renoir, Picasso, Dali, Modigliani, Degas, Van Gogh etc. My passion for color and texture was shaping the style that I currently have. My style is clearly Impressionist, in some cases Fauvista. At present I have opted for oil and spatula on canvas, given the volume and the possibilities they provide me, especially the dynamism and the great expressiveness of the medium. My favorite motifs are landscape, figure and the nude. At present I enjoy composing works based on the abstraction of nature. I am a member and treasurer of the Artistic Association of Duranguesado. Individual exhibitions held: _From March 24 to 28, 2016 at the San Andres de Rasines church (Cantabria). -From June 2 to 22, 2016 at the Orense Foundation, Ramales de la Victoria (Cantabria). -From March 29 to April 1, 2018 at the San Andres de Rasines church (Cantabria). -From October 19 to 28, 2018 Ezkurdi aretoa Durango (Vizcaya). I have also participated in other collective exhibitions in important towns such as Barakaldo May2018, Bergara Sept 2018 Basauri (Torre de Ariz) 2019, Eibar Topaleku 2019 etc |
