Hello! I am Celedonia Ramón, a Spanish plastic artist who works and lives in Seville.
I love to experiment with all the themes and techniques, although the ones I use the most are acrylic and watercolor. When looking at my works, what characterizes them the most is their contemporary style, the light and the force of the color that I express in them. I am inspired by human relationships, experiences, passion, all the beauty and energy of life. I think there is already enough pain in it and I do not want to reflect it in my works. Looking around me I always find a reason to paint, natural light in any open space, colors, what makes me feel certain music, a reading or film that has impacted me or exhibitions of other paintings that I have seen. My intention is to leave a legacy of paintings that touch people's lives, INSPIRING THEM, helping them express their personality, improving their quality of life and their space. For me, art is like life: ”the expression of creative energy through me. It is to give back to the world the gift of creativity with self-knowledge, purpose and a sense of unity ”. For me they are important: he works with good technique, a work process that respects the environment, and that knows how to convey the emotions that I have painted. The progress of my paintings (and myself) keeps me anxious to know where it will take me. I am always in "student mode", experimenting. I really like to paint subjects related to the sea, because it makes me feel freer and more alive, it instinctively calls me, without having a special bond. I paint it in my studio, with my own photos from trips and other times outdoors. Normally I paint with natural light and I tend to be more concentrated in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon, so I take advantage of the hours when more light enters my studio. Depending on the size of the work and the technique to be used, it can take between 2 or 3 days if it is a large canvas, 100 x 100 cm for example, or if it is watercolor on small or medium paper, a day or two. Education: Social graduate from the University of Granada (Spain), mentor and author of personal growth (trilogy "And you, do you know yourself?"), Creative entrepreneur and self-taught plastic artist. My knowledge of painting comes from studying many art books, visiting numerous exhibitions and museums each year, and practicing, practicing, and practicing. Always self-taught.
