Straw marquetry is an artisan technique that was imported from the East to France and England in the XNUMXth century. Nowadays there are very few artisans who dedicate themselves to this art, focusing mainly on high decoration. Once the application of the straw is finished, it is cleaned very carefully and protected with natural beeswax. The natural reflection of the straw gives each piece a life of its own, changing as the light hits. Does not include bulb or lampshade.
