Monocromias is a personal work in which I build textures of nature. It is a form of spatial expression in a simple but complete language that is that of black and white. I allow the paper to create textures by naturally wrinkling to give volume and accompany the stroke of the work. In some cases, I include some accompanying color to complement the work.
I paint it on a Japanese Tenryu greaseproof paper of 70 gr / m2 of 52 x 42mm. The work would be delivered rolled up in a cardboard tube.
