Jori Duran (17 of January of 1929, Lourdes) is a French figurative painter, although most of her production reflects subjects, feelings, semblantes and Spanish landscapes.
Self-taught artist of great strength and internationally recognized. He has exhibited in galleries in Spain, France, England, Italy, USA and Canada, obtaining, among others, the following awards and distinctions: 1962: Silver medal from (Arts, sciences et lettres) -Paris 1967: Gold medal of the city of Bordeaux 1968: New York Grand Prix 1975: Prize of honor of the president of the society of fine arts-Pau 1982: (Diploma di merit) of the Leonardo da Vinci Academy-Rome 1987: Laureate of the (Golden Laurels) of the WIZO-Paris 2000: Prize of the patron-Salon international of Clairac |
