I was born in Portugalete, Vizcaya. I studied sculpture at the Faculty of San Carlos in Valencia, terracotta restoration in Andalusia and Valencia, goldsmithing in Valencia, and wood carving in the United States.
I work with a variety of materials and have a preference for stone, bronze, and wood; I don't rule out other materials for creating my work. I like the materials in my pieces to interact with each other. The bronzes are unique pieces and I don't make series, the stone is always directly carved. My works are in public and private entities, most of them are acquired by collectors and individuals. I have held group and solo exhibitions in Spain, the United States, and Great Britain. |
