I feel very lucky once again to have such a special reference photograph. How to make the image of a woman shaving in front of the mirror fun, elegant, and even feminine and sensual? A masculine act that stops seeming so if Patricia performs it in front of Yago's camera.

It is not enough to pose; It's not just photography. Find inspiration, recreate it, shape it and transmit it. I value it, admire it and certainly enjoy it and appreciate it.

It could be said that I have idealized them, but my admiration, respect and affection are born on solid ground from the other side of the IG screen.

But not everything has been a bed of roses with this painting, far from it. This work has pushed me to create another 9 or 10 since it crossed my brushes. It started out as something quick and fun, but the outcome of her was getting difficult for me as my expectations with her grew.

The highest of all: that in one way or another, it was a reference work for my daughters, one of those who remember because their mother has been telling them stories while they watched it evolve on the easel. One of those jobs that contain both affection and frustration. The teaching that you should never give up and if things don't go your way, take a step back, rest and come back with renewed strength.
