Since the year 2016 begins a painting project due to a change of address and therefore of landscape, a landscape in which it was deeply rooted. This project started as a LOOK DUEL to that landscape and started a path through the fantasy forests where the trees do not have roots and have a lot of texture, full of matter, and are reflected thanks to the use of golden paper, this series Call Textures.
Parallel drawings have been emerging in black ink on paper in a fluid way, where the lines are intersecting, but cut to enter empty spaces to rest your eyes. This series of drawings are called Entreramas.
In the last creations in oil painting, the two previous series are combined creating a new one, with the name of Connections, where the textures and lines that cross and release the look in areas reserved for silence are united.
It is an emotional contemplation where the viewer is trapped, through ambushing him in the created landscapes and in which he can interact when completing with his look and interpretation.

It is an interpretation of the landscape of the part that is seen and the one that is hidden that ends up connected, there is a central white space that is the space of reflection of silence. There is also a part with copper paper where there is also a space to look at oneself. For me this painting within the project The duel of the gaze is from which appears maturity and reflection.
