In "Oyuki", I have brought the contemporary portrait of a geisha to the world of minimalism. With delicate brush strokes, I have defined the exact shape of the young geisha's face, leaving the acrylic in the background visible and using this base as a tonal range in the motif. As if it were a veil, you can see through the geisha's skin, taking us into the mystery of her and revealing her essence in a subtle but powerful way. This work seeks to capture the beauty and enigmatic presence of the geisha, inviting the viewer to reflect on her emotional depth and her fascinating inner world.
