Tutankapop. King of Ancient Egypt. The first pharaoh was Narmer and the last a woman, Cleopatra. The pharaohs were considered almost divine beings. After his death, they merged with the deity Osiris, acquiring immortality and divinity. From that moment they were venerated as another god in the temples. The young Tutankhamun was the last pharaoh of royal blood. He reigned ten years and died when he was only 18. His tomb was discovered in 1922, intact, in the Valley of the Kings.
