Marisa Rivera Navarro es una artista autodidacta que creció en un ambiente creativo , con la compañía de su padre Manuel Rivera, famoso pintor español.
Obtuvo el Título de Psicología por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y después continuó una carrera como conservador de Arte independiente. Ha estado involucrada en el mundo del arte ya desde su infancia y continúa trabajando en el. “Mi formación es autodidacta. En mi obra, los temas van surgiendo de forma espontánea, sin una intencionalidad previa, la mayoría de las veces. En muchas ocasiones a partir de una figura o una línea inicial va surgiendo el tema por sí solo casi de forma automática , desentendiéndose de una estructura previa . La imaginación es un componente esencial. Lo mismo ocurre con el color . Todo lo llena , lo envuelve, y hace que vibre . El trazo, las gamas, la intensidad, la forma de aplicarlo va saliendo y se va haciendo sobre el blanco del papel según va configurándose el dibujo. El color y las ideas viven y viajan juntos. Criaturas y formas protagonizan historias fantásticas y fluyen como espíritus libres, danzan, flotan, vuelan, forman conjuntos o se salen de la superficie pintada, sin márgenes de secuencia ni límites de espacio. Símbolos, arquetipos, arcanos, referencias personales y culturales, se entrecruzan detrás de la cortina de un aparente juego de luces y sueños. Como técnica mixta, utilizo una variedad de medios como rotuladores técnicos, lápices, acrílicos, gouaches, los dedos, papeles recortados, cuerda y barniz, sobre papeles de pequeño formato. Me gustaría que la energía que pongo sobre lo que pinto pasara a los que lo miran. Que pudieran sentirla, olerla, oírla, percibirla. O por lo menos que sintieran un ligero roce. Yo solo intento decir cosas con el color y con la forma, que no podría decir de otra manera.” Marisa Rivera Navarro is a self-taught visual artist, who grew up in a creative home, in the company of her famous father, the Spanish painter Manuel Rivera. Marisa earned a Bachelor Degree in Psychology at the Complutense University in Madrid, and then pursued a career as an independent curator. Marisa has been involved in the art world since her early childhood and keeps working at it . “My background is self-taught. In my work, issues arise spontaneously, without a prior intent, most of the time. On many occasions as a figure or an initial line will emerging the theme itself only almost automatically, while turning a blind of a previous structure. The imagination is an essential component. The same applies to the color. Full, wraps it, and makes it vibrate. The stroke ranges, the intensity, the way to apply it emerges and is becoming on the white of the paper as it is configuring the drawing. The color and the ideas live and travel together. Creatures and forms have fantastic stories and flow as free spirits, dance, float, fly, form sets or go out of the painted surface, margins of sequence without limits of space. Symbols, archetypes, arcane, personal and cultural references , they interact behind the curtain of an apparent game of lights and dreams. In terms of technique I use a variety of mixed media such as markers, pencils, acrylic, gouaches, fingers, cut papers, threads and varnish on paper of small format I would like that the energy I put on what I paint would be transferred to the people that look at it. I´d like they could feel it, smell it, hear it, perceive it. Or at least feel a subtle touch from it . I just try to say things with color and shape that I could not say otherwise”. |
