Con una trayectoria de más de 50 años como fotógrafo en las más diversas ramas, mis fotos están en multiples establecimientos desde murales en hoteles hasta cartelería en hostelería, retrato infantil, fotografía de alimentos, etc mis primeras décadas estuvieron marcadas por la pasión por capturar lo que cliente deseaba, nunca reserve nada para mi colección personal. Lo poco que tenía, desafortunadamente, lo perdí en un traslado de domicilio.
Hace unos 10 años decidí comenzar a capturar imágenes para mi propio disfrute, las cuales ahora tengo el placer de presentarles, al crearlas, mi único objetivo ha sido lograr que al contemplarlas se perciba algo agradable, ya sea por el motivo, la composición o el tratamiento del color. Aunque no siempre estoy completamente satisfecho con lo que hago, dejo de manipularlas cuando considero que ya no puedo extraer más de la imagen, en ocasiones, las dejo reposar durante un tiempo, y al retomarlas, consigo verlas con nuevos ojos y darles mi aprobación. A lo largo de mi carrera profesional, he sido testigo de la evolución de la fotografía, desde las cámaras de estudio de madera con placas de cristal hasta las versiones más recientes de Photoshop. Siempre he disfrutado del proceso de manipulación, desde trabajar con negativos hasta editar archivos digitales. Mi enfoque actual consiste en tomar una imagen que me llame la atención y transformarla hasta lograr algo visualmente agradable y emocionalmente conmovedor Me inclino hacia colores saturados y armoniosos que resulten agradables a la vista. Cada una de mis obras está enmarcada con un paspartú, el cual considero esencial para resaltar su belleza, varía en función del color y tamaño según mi criterio. Además, establezco un tamaño mínimo de impresión, buscando que refleje fielmente mi visión original, sabiendo que en muchos casos, una versión más grande realzaría su impacto. Aunque hasta ahora he mantenido en privado mi trabajo, tengo la capacidad de imprimir en una variedad de materiales y tamaños, incluyendo lienzo. Poseo alrededor de 200 obras individuales, y también series temáticas. Las he catalogado en series numeradas de 5 a 30 unidades. Although I am not always completely satisfied with what I do, I stop manipulating them when I consider that I can no longer extract more from the image, sometimes I let them rest for a while, and when I return to them, I am able to see them with new eyes and give them my approval. Throughout my professional career, I have witnessed the evolution of photography, from wooden studio cameras with glass plates to the most recent versions of Photoshop. I have always enjoyed the process of manipulation, from working with negatives to editing digital files. My current approach is to take an image that catches my eye and transform it into something visually pleasing and emotionally moving. I lean towards saturated and harmonious colors that are pleasing to the eye. Each of my works is framed with a mat, which I consider essential to highlight its beauty, it varies depending on the color and size according to my criteria. Additionally, I establish a minimum print size, seeking to faithfully reflect my original vision, knowing that in many cases, a larger version would enhance its impact. Although I have kept my work private until now, I have the ability to print on a variety of materials and sizes, including canvas. I own around 200 individual works, and also thematic series. I have cataloged them in numbered series of 5 to 30 units. Each image is digitally signed on the front and hand-signed on the back, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity detailing all relevant details of the work, including my signature. |
