Anne Smurra
I was born on January 25, 1983. Born and raised in Argentina within an Italian family, I have also lived in Italy, Brazil, USA, Ireland and, currently, in Spain. I exhibited my works in various galleries and art spaces in Argentina, Italy, Spain and Uruguay. In Argentina I created my own boutique wine brand Anelís, and I have designed its labels together with other artists. I studied Fine Arts, Journalism, Social Communication and Advertising in Buenos Aires. I attended art workshops with Dolores Casares, and I also completed courses on ceramics, wine, theater, photography and interior design. I identify myself with creation, creative expression, transformation and movement. Regarding my current technique, I use acrylic and resin. I like to tell short stories and different situations through each piece of art. The works of the series Los Mares de Anelís have been sold in France, Italy, Austria, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and Argentina. |
