Born in Caimari - Mallorca - Illes Balears in October of 1959 in a family of farmers. Since he was very young, he shows a great artistic sensibility accentuated by the contact with nature and makes his first carvings in wood and stone as well as landscape painting in a self-taught way.
In 1993 he becomes an apprentice of the American sculptor David Credle and later in his collaborator making several commissioned sculptures. In 1994 he makes his first large sculpture in stone titled "Tree with Owls" (300 x 150 cm.) For Count Johannes von Mey (Austria). From then on he continues to make sculptures and begins to introduce his particular artistic vision in the landscapes of several Mallorcan estates and gardens. Most of his work is on the island of Mallorca. |
