Graduated in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid, he began to give his first brushstrokes in a self-taught way as a mere hobby to start receiving classes from the Spanish Association of Watercolorists (AEDA) with professors of the stature of Jaime Galdeano, Ricardo de Arce or José Zorita for three years. At the same time, he combines classes at AEDA with several masters in painting from Manolo Jiménez or Cesc Farré and alternating the teachings of Francisco Castro at the Cadmium Blue Painting School for a year, of which he acquires a clear influence.
Shortly after, he began to teach at AEDA, first as an adjunct professor for a year to continue the following course with one of Basic painting. Since then, with this already the third academic year, he shows his knowledge focused on the landscape, mainly the urban one. In parallel, it begins to give individuals as an extension of those taught by the Association. Without forgetting the participation of numerous Quick Painting contests in which he is selected and winner. In the same way, it organizes numerous exhibitions both at AEDA and in different rooms in the Community of Madrid. He currently centers his classes around the urban landscape of which he is passionate. His painting is characterized by Synthetism oriented fundamentally to the stain, without reaching the abstract, with small doses of realism. With a reduced but highly contrasted palette, he introduces us to the world of suggestion, he forces us to compose each element of his painting, to contemplate the painting from a certain distance to effortlessly absorb all the emotional load. |
