I'm Joan Subirà. He was born in Montmeló in 1954 and has lived in Centelles since 1983.
I started painting at a very young age, learning the rudiments of painting from Professor Casals Grau in Granollers. My training has been mostly self-taught and inspired by the influence of great masters of classical baroque painting. My artistic career until now has been based on painting alone and working on commissions, especially portraits. I practice naturalistic realism, specialized in portraits and still lifes, but without giving up the landscape. |
