Biography: |
From a very young age I always spent time with a pencil and paper trying to draw. She was 14 years old when I entered for the first time in a contest organized by the Brotherhood of the Virgin of Guadalupe in 1959 in Úbeda. I submitted an oil painting of a potted geranium, titled "Spring," winning third prize.
My parents, seeing my love for this art, took me to the studio of Marisa Rosset, a great disciple of Soto Mayor, who taught me my first classes on Goya Street, 27 in Madrid. When Marisa closed the studio, I went to the academy on Arenal Street, with professors Barranco and Peña, professors, who prepared me to enter the Faculty of Fine Arts. I learned the portrait technique from Marcelo Góngora. In summary, four fundamental pillars for the development of my professional career. I have exhibited at the Antares club and the Ateneo de Sevilla; in commercial events in Loma de Úbeda, in 2002, 2003 and 2005; at the Royal and illustrious Official College of Pharmacists of the Province of Seville. Private collections in Madrid, Seville, Poland, Japan, Austria, Portugal, Barcelona, Úbeda, Santisteban del Puerto, Villacarrillo, Alcázar de San Juan, Navas de San juan, Aznalcázar, Almensilla, Coria del Río and Tomares have my works. |
