Maribel García Esteban was born in Malaga, on 20/05/68. An administrative professional by profession, she has always combined her work with her true passion, art.
The creative process has always been the driving force of his life. Self-taught and restless, it has always been her desire to learn and experiment that has made her try different artistic disciplines, such as painting, illustration, design, wood carving, modeling, writing, photography, etc. She is not afraid to try new materials, to combine them, to take risks in her creations. He has participated in various collective art exhibitions: • Annual exhibitions since 2010 held at the “La Térmica” Art Workshop School located at the José M. Carpena Citizen Center • Artlocker Emerging Art Exhibition, held at the Malaga Bus Station, in 2017 • Cabin Artists and More Show, held at Trasteros Plus, in 2017 He has participated in several consecutive years in outdoor painting competitions organized by the Benagalbón City Council (Málaga). He has participated in the DISELLO Contest, organized by Correos. Likewise, he has participated in the poster contest of the 21st edition of the Malaga Film Festival in Spanish, with his work “Fishing for movie stars” having been selected in 2017. She participated in various literary contests, with her stories and poems published in collective anthologies, which encouraged her to publish in 2019, with Editorial Exlibric, her book “Corazón de Trapo”, an anthology of poems and stories of her authorship, illustrated by she herself. Participation in an anthology of short stories “El Verano Malagueño”, published by Ediciones del Genal, in 2021. His latest participations have been for the Editorial Un notebook en blank, in 2022 and 2023, in various charitable anthologies of haikus, “Himawari” and “Hanami”, of poetry “Give poetry for Christmas”, as well as short stories “Rronroneo” . |
