Mónika Aguirre (Pamplona, 1966) began in the world of painting in her childhood and at the age of 8 she won a national children's painting competition organized by the Principality of Asturias. At the age of 12, she entered the school of the painter José Luis López Escalada as a student, and at 17 she already had her own painting studio.
He began his professional activity painting advertising murals for fairs and exhibitions. She studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, specializing in Painting. Cooperating for 6 months in Equatorial Guinea, she has been a painting teacher for more than 20 years at the Colegio de Nª Sª del Recuerdo (Jesuitas, Chamartín). She also works as a creative and graphic designer in different marketing and advertising companies and sets up her own painting academy. Vocational artist of great pictorial technique, with an exceptional mastery of forms and backgrounds, master in the handling of oil painting, in all its colors, ranges and shades, as well as other techniques (acrylic, watercolor, and other techniques mixed), his works always surprise, both in the initial viewing and in all subsequent revisits, where we always find new nuances, feelings and sources of inspiration. Currently, he paints oil paintings to order, for friends, or for good causes. |
